  • KWL chart.
  • Sharing experiences of accidents happened at home.
  • Explained safety rules to be followed at home.
  • Discussed Picture study. Students have written a small story by observing the given picture.

Date: 6.1.2022

Topics taught:

  •  Discussed the terms- Pedestrians, use of Zebra crossing, traffic signals, footpath.
  • Discussed the road safety rules and signs used.

 ASYNCHRONOUS ACTIVITY

Activity 1 (Chart Making) Material required (to be sourced by the students): markers, sketch pen, pencil, cardboard, A4 size paper (Note: materials may vary as per students’ discretion) 

Instructions:  the students to make a chart that consists of Road signs with their descriptions.  Inform the students to click the pictures of their chart and send through mail or share in class or can make a poster of single sign too

   to make the chart attractive and colourful.

 Activity 2 (Real World Connect) 

 Observe and prepare a list of different types road signs that you see near your area. 

 Note the information of that road sign in the notebook and draw the road sign. 

 Share your list with the teacher.
